Who we are: To Educate All Children (TEACH) is an educational nonprofit located in Houston, TX. We work with the Houston Independent School District, training educational professionals in classroom management strategies using a variety of nonverbal and verbal skills. Our data, obtained from an independent study by Texas A&M University and data from HISD, shows that with our training, disciplinary actions and suspensions are greatly reduced, teachers gain about 20 minutes of extra instructional time, raising STAAR test scores, and teacher turnover is reduced.

TEACH is looking to expand the number of schools we serve in HISD, and we are also planning on expanding into neighboring districts. We believe that adding the position of Grant Manager will greatly facilitate TEACH’s growth.

We at TEACH believe in and are working toward creating equity in education, so that every student has access to a great education and the opportunity to build the skills needed to be productive members of our community. The case for equity includes strengthening our communities, creating an overall healthy economy, and balancing power and privilege.
